Perez, the crew leader for this job, begins the preparation process with his team. As with all restoration projects, they clear the decks and remove all furniture. To protect the gutter downspouts from staining and ensure easy access to the home's corners, they remove them as well. With the log home now ready for re-coating, the crew will apply a coat of Sashco Capture Chestnut. To provide extra protection, they add Bee Gone to the stain. This product helps combat beetles and other insects that can damage the wood.
