Last month was a busy one for us, with jobs taking us all over. One of these projects was a cabin and smokehouse restoration at Stonebridge Farms in Front Royal, Virginia. The cabin in question was a historic treasure, dating back at least 200 years. The owners wanted us to restore the cabin but do so in a way that preserved the weathered, rustic appearance. Armando and his crew were absolutely up to the job. We first carefully stripped both buildings in preparation for a light sand and stain application. Because the original color had a gray finish, we used a special combination of TWP Slate Gray and Cape Cod Grey to give the cabin that rustic look. We were so happy to be able to help preserve such a wonderful piece of history!
